DESCRIPTION:Just how big is a Columbian Mammoth?? Let&rsquo;s learn about the Pleistocene megafauna that roamed El Paso long before it was El Paso! Discover how fossils are made, how to protect bones in the field, and all about ancient animals like mammoths, ancient bison, giant sloths, and more!  \n  \n  \n  \n All camps are $70 for non-members, or $55 for members. Registration ends 10 days before camp begins or when the camp is full. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and is limited per camp.  The camp is not designed for parents to attend or volunteer. No refunds will be given.   \n  \n  \n  \n  \n Camps are an interactive, hands-on experience held on the museum&rsquo;s grounds, weather permitting, in the galleries, and classroom. If weather prevents outdoor activities, alternative indoor activities will be held. Campers should be prepared by bringing a refillable water bottle and wearing sunscreen, sturdy shoes (no sandals), protective clothing, insect repellent, and a hat for the outdoor activities. Each participant will be provided with snacks each day.   \n  \n
